Marie believes each person’s life is the ultimate canvas on which they create through their daily experience. This personal philosophy is the reason she finds creating portraits for clients so personally satisfying. She understands all too well that each time a client entrusts her with the immense responsibility inherent in each commissioned portrait, that each represents an important memory, an irreplaceable snap shot in time for that individual. When you add her passionate desire to create the best work she can, to experience honed over time, what results are works that satisfy both client and artist. The painting she chose to reflect here, is a prime example of this philosophy. It is a painting done from a photo of a young girl and her Dad taken at Marie's wedding. This photo was taken in 2000 and for the Dad not only reminds him of the wedding of his good friends, but also of a very special moment shared by himself and his young daughter. Marie now works full time as a portrait artist, serving the greater Phoenix area.
