"The portrait was amazing!!!  Rich's family was overjoyed as were the rest of us who came to know him.  The quality of the work you did was second to none.  Thank you for taking the time and putting forth the obvious effort to complete the day for us and provide us with something very special."
Sincerely, Jamie Hart

"Not a day goes by that I do not look at, and enjoy this portrait. This was a once in a life time expense that I would endure, and have found it to be worth every penny spent. There is not a single picture hanging in my house that I enjoy as much as I do this one. Again, after a year of enjoyment, I want to thank you for a wonderful family keep sake."
Sincerely,
Denise C. Canter

"We can not tell you how much we LOVE the portraits of Madison!  As you said, they are more beautiful in person.  Thank you for helping us to make this a most special Christmas gift and hopefully, we will have several more in the near future to order. You are the BEST deal around...that's for sure and you make it so easy. Thanks again, Jerry.  Merry Christmas to you and yours."
Judy Martelli

"I do not have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to tell you how wonderful, fabulous, perfect the portrait of our kids is.  I do not recall ever being so moved and crying so much for joy. Thank you for helping make this a fabulous fifty for me."
Sincerely, Amy Makson

PORTRAITS WITH A PUNCH !
Hello! I am Roberta J Taff-Martin. Portrait painting isn't just a job for me. It's a lifelong love affair with art! I have the responsibility of creating a very personal piece of artwork that transcends almost everything most people will ever own. I take that responsibility very seriously. Nothing is more important to me than getting it right. I have enjoyed painting from a very young age.

Art was always my favorite class in grade school. I have memories of art competition as early as 2nd grade, competing at local art shows & state fairs. I took art Classes four years in High School from two very good & different art instructors. In fact as an adult I belong to an art group which meet once a week for over 20 years to paint as a group. While painting we learn from each other lots of tips and techniques. This too is under the direction of one of my high school art instructors. All the while, entering local juried art shows with award winning artwork.

I completed a technical illustration course to help improve my techniques & perspective. My most recent art course was the Tru Paint System under the direction of Jerry Schuster. I have worked in the art field over the years with some of my illustrations in how-to-books published by some major publishers. I have worked in other areas of art and craft fields from woodworking to sewing & machine embroidery to pottery & doll designing to sign & T-Shirt designing.

I seem to keep coming back to portraits which I enjoy the most because I feel I learn a lot about the people as I study their faces while working on their portraits. Most of all I enjoy the stories that go with the faces I paint. My work has been shown in local galleries, shows & fairs.

Hopefully I can work with you on a piece of art destined to become a family heirloom.
